Marlon Vargas Master

ARTIST REVIEW

Marlon Vargas. Born in Palmira – Valle in 1972. Three months after my birth my parents went to live in Turbo – Antioquia (Urabá) and I grew up there. Finishing high school, I went to study acting for film, radio and TV in Bogotá. At the Ronald Ayazo acting academy. Then I studied advertising drawing and communication in Cali. In an art history class in which we were painting, I discovered that I am color blind and that is where my encounter with painting began. After a while I expanded my curiosity to sculpture, writing stories, comics, making settings and thrones. My experience in Colombia Has Talent, brought an important evolution in my work.

Comment

The world is transformed from the world itself.

I'm Marlon Vargas. My work is the reflection of what I feel more than what I see.
What I see is nothing more than a reflection of the greatness that God has placed in our spirits.
We are impulses of energy, impulses of color, impulses of infinite love. A universal consciousness that makes us unique and eternal... That's how we were created, that's what we are.

Welcome to the New Spiritual Order, on a journey hand in hand with the Arts. A new order where there is only freedom and being.

A journey, in the infinite search for oblivion and detachment towards the marginal concepts created by the pretentious interests of the academies.
Marlon Vargas is forever, and this is where I cling to my color blindness, to give way to the spirit, so that it satisfies its hunger for freedom by manifesting itself in the lies that Art presents to us, to make us aware of its truth.

The greatness of the human being, represented in the icons of Superheroes, fighting against explosions of conflicting feelings, faced with the impotence of being an artist; in a necrophagous society, trapped in the eagerness to consume the remains thrown at us by apparently more developed cultures.

Woe to those who do not see beyond the simple form that stultifies the work.
Poor those who do not measure their spiritual hunger, beyond the ephemeral need for consumerism.
Woe to the Artists who do not go beyond what a simple fashion allows them…
I am Marlon Vargas… That is enough for me to be. Searching in the utopia of my Underworld and in the blessing of my home, the day when my brothers of the human race appreciate the universe, beyond the simple. shape.
