The "ENTRE DOS MUNDOS" is a proposal of the plastic artistic movement ARKIPUS of Ecuador and the collective GRANMANDALA ART of the country of Colombia in coordination with the Plurinational Union of Popular Artists of Imbabura.

It is a platform for meeting and interdisciplinary dialogue of the plastic arts, typical of artists in their insatiable creative desire, the wandering of their proposals, the disagreement with the workshop and their need to communicate, energize, debate, build, destroy. Everyday dynamics so normal within the artistic world, during the generalized crisis we are experiencing.

Amid this context, it became URGENT to create our own spaces for meeting, dialogue, dissemination and circulation of the arts in our territories, as that historical space of infinite synergy between the artist, the works and the public. Dialogue that has transcended the history of peoples in time.

Thus, binational collective processes have been forged, taking public spaces from the arts with great impact on the territories. The symbolic seizure of public spaces is also an exercise of cultural rights established in the constitution.

The artistic proposal "ENTRE DOS MUNDOS" has been sustained over time with the contingent and self-managed effort of its creators and the artists who have collaborated in its construction, chakiñan traschakiñan, step by step this binational route of color continues to intertwine borders, staining realities with color and form.

"ENTRE DOS MUNDOS" IS A BINATIONAL COLLECTIVE PLASTIC ART EXHIBITION BETWEEN THE ARTISTS OF COLOMBIA AND ECUADOR THAT HAS THE INTENTION OF FORGING LASOS OF ARTISTIC BROTHERHOOD AND CULTURAL EXCHANGE.

IT IS A SAMPLE OF YOUNG AND CONSECRATED PLASTIC ARTISTS FROM THE TWO PARTICIPATING COUNTRIES.

On this occasion ARKIPUS Y GRANMANDALA ART made the decision to make an itinerant exhibition in the main cities of Colombia and Ecuador, with the theme of mythical, mythological characters, symbols, signs, ancestral of the plurinational worldview of Colombia and Ecuador. It also refers to the fact that our processes from the beginning have been found in the time of DIA DE MUERTOS or DECEASED, which is commemorated in the month of November, symbolically refers to the mystical world, the "uku pacha", in that interaction with the "Kay Pacha" with our time. It is said that plastic artists have the possibility of interconnecting with all times and that our art is the expression that this is possible.

ARKIPUS AND GRANMANDALA ART promote plastic artistic creation committed to elements of our multicultural identity, to strengthen it, learn to love it, root our symbols, spread our ancestral memory, collective and above all spread the best values of our cultures. This is one of the roles of folk arts.
